Well, I'm Adysen but most call me Ady. I'm a recent highschool graduate and started my business July 2024 with the intent of capturing your raw, beautiful, and exiting moments. I am an Oregon native, and cowgirl through and through. I threw my leg over a horse for the first time when I was 6 and haven't stopped since. I have always found the western world to be a beautiful thing, which inspired me to start photographing all aspects of it. Cowgirl or not, I am still thrilled to capture your milestones and memories, whatever they may be!
When I don't have a camera in my hand I am line dancing, watching my all time favorite show (Yellowstone), fishing, camping, hiking, or spending time with family. I am currently working for my bachelors in Animal Science with a focus in equine and bovine studies and will be attending Veterinary school after graduation. My love for farm animals has always been strong, hence why I love to photograph them!

How my faith ties into my work
At Grit and Grace Photography, my faith is the foundation of everything I do. As a Christian, I believe that God’s grace and strength are woven into every moment, and I seek to capture that beauty in each photograph. My passion for photography is not just about taking pictures; it’s about telling stories—stories of love, hope, perseverance, and the faith that sustains us through life’s journey.
Through the lens, I strive to see God’s hand in the world around me—the sunsets over the prairie, the quiet moments of a family gathering, the joy of a wedding day. Every photo is an opportunity to reflect His creation, His love, and His faithfulness. Whether I'm capturing the rugged beauty of the Western landscape or the tender smiles of those in front of my camera, I aim to show that God’s grace is in every moment, big or small.
I believe that my work is a reflection of the verse, “Let all that you do be done in love” (1 Corinthians 16:14). Every session, every image, is done with love, care, and the desire to honor God. My business is a way to serve others, and through it, I hope to inspire faith, trust, and gratitude in those who experience my work.

I loved the energy and how comfortable you made me feel to take the pictures. I had a fun time taking the pictures, I'm glad you had multiple poses for me to do. You were pretty good at explaining how to pose, having a Pinterest board for the poses was a great idea for those who have trouble understanding how to pose. You edited the photos really well, with the dark contrast it was really pretty. I've loved how you've edited all the photos even other people, they are stuff you'd see on Pinterest with how they're edited, they're very pretty!
